Canoeing, Kayaking & Ziplining

Looking for a day off from the beach? Try heading to the Blackwater River State Forest (40 minutes from Navarre Beach) for a relaxing day of canoeing, kayaking or hiking along Coldwater Creek. The Blackwater River State Forest is known as The Canoe Capital of the World and is the largest state forest in Florida. It features an array of inland rivers that are perfect for a calm, kid-friendly day of canoeing, kayaking, or tubing. The same glistening white sand found on Navarre Beach can also be seen along the banks of the Blackwater and Coldwater Creek as you glide your way down them. This activity makes an excellent day trip. If you want even more adventure and want to add activities like ziplining to your vacation schedule, check out our recommendations below!
