Covid-19 Update
5/16/20 Vacation Rental Ban Lifted
The vacation rental ban has been lifted and we can once again welcome you as our guest to Navarre Beach. We do have some guidelines which we must follow. We cannot rent to guests from certain states at this time. Any state with more than 500 cases per 100,000 population is prevented from renting a vacation rental at this time. These states include LA, IL, NY, MD, DE, CT, MA, RI, NJ, DC, NE and MI.
This policy will be evaluated weekly and the ban may be lifted on individual states as their COVID-19 numbers improve. Check the CDC website regularly for updated information.
5/15/2020 Roadmap to Reopening
Today the governor has requested each county submit a plan for re-opening vacation rentals in their county. Our officials in Santa Rosa County are submitting their plan today. Once approved we will again be able to welcome you to Navarre Beach. Check back often for updates. Thank you for your patience.
5/14/2020 - Vacation Rental Ban Still in Effect
Navarre Properties is patiently waiting to get the go- ahead from our governor’s office to begin renting vacation rentals once more. When we receive the go ahead, we will update this page with the good news.
COVID-19 has caused many changes to the operations of all businesses and Navarre Properties is no exception. We would like to keep you informed of some of the changes we have made to help limit our person to person contact during this pandemic. These changes will help us protect our staff and guests from exposure to the virus.
Electronic Check-in and Check-out – We now have electronic check-in and check-out for all rentals. We have instituted electronic signature for our rental agreement. This will help with social distancing for both you and our staff by alleviating the need for a front desk visit.
Updated Housekeeping Systems – Navarre Properties has always worked hard to provide our guests with a clean environment in which to enjoy their vacation. Although we cannot guarantee a virus free vacation, we have added new protocols to our existing cleaning standards. We follow CDC cleanliness guidelines and check updates regularly to ensure we are using the latest standards. We utilize commercial cleaning products and disinfectants that kill germs and viruses. Our housekeepers pay special attention to high touch areas such as doorknobs, handles, light switches, remote controls, and phones.
Our bed linens and towels are laundered at Navarre Beach Laundry. The laundry uses commercial machinery as well as commercial detergent and bleach to ensure all linens are fresh and clean. Navarre Properties makes all beds with a top cover and blanket which is also freshly laundered commercially after each guest’s stay.
Local Businesses and Restaurants – Many of our Navarre area businesses and restaurants have re-opened with limited seating and capacity.
During your visit to Navarre Beach remember not to congregate in large groups, always maintain a 6 foot social distance from others and wear a mask while in public spaces such as grocery stores.
5/5/20 Phase I - Navarre Beach has Re-Opened but Vacation Rentals Cannot be Rented During This Time
We are currently in Phase I of Governor DeSantis' Plan to re-open Florida. Under this plan Vacation Rentals are prohibited. Any new check-ins to short-term vacation rentals are not allowed. This phase will last at least two weeks. During Phase 2 of the re-opening plan we will be allowed to rent vacation rentals again. Check back regularly for updates.
If you have a reservation during the time that the vacation rental ban is in place we will cancel you reservation and refund all monies paid.
Future Reservations - You may reserve your dates for your future reservation. Navarre Properties offers you a worry free guarantee of a full refund should the need to close the beaches or ban vacation rentals resume.
Restaurants are slowly re-opening in Navarre. They can open at 25% occupancy and all patrons must practice social distancing.
We will post updates on this page as they are received.
March 20, 2020 - Navarre Beach is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
March 9, 2020 - Cleaning Procedures
We are currently updating our cleaning procedures and will post new information soon. Our janitorial supply company has recommended the addition of a product with a high human coronavirus kill claim. This product is being used on all surface areas and can even be used on fabrics. Additionally, our sheets and towels are commercially laundered at Navarre Beach Laundry. All of these items are washed with commercial detergent and bleach at high temperatures.
