The Navarre Beach, Florida area also offers family-friendly attractions such as; Blue Angel's practice and autograph sessions, Naval & Air Force Museums, Blackwater River State Park for zip-lining and canoeing, feeding the giraffes at The Gulf Breeze Zoo, experience stingrays hands-on at the Gulfarium or a day of fishing off of the longest pier in Florida- The Navarre Beach Pier.

The Navarre area offers a wide variety of restaurants that suit any taste or budget.  Enjoy the gulf coasts fresh seafood at many of our area restaurants including: East Bay Crab House or Atlas Oyster House. Attractions
The Navarre Beach area has many attractions just a short drive from the beach including; touring naval aviation history at our National Museum of Naval Aviation, feeding the giraffes and taking a train ride at The Gulf Breeze Zoo or catch a dolphin show at the Gulfarium.

Canoeing/Kayaking/Zip Lining
Looking for a day off the beach? Try heading to the Blackwater River State Forest (40 minutes from Navarre Beach) for a relaxing day of canoeing, kayaking or hiking along Coldwater Creek. The Blackwater River State Forest is known as The Canoe Capital of the World and is the largest state forest in Florida. It features an array of inland rivers that are perfect for a calm, kid-friendly day of canoeing, kayaking, or tubing. The same glistening white sand found on Navarre Beach can also be seen along the banks of the Blackwater and Coldwater Creek as you glide your way down them. This activity makes an excellent day trip.

Fishing
Navarre Beach Florida is the perfect place to spend the day or week fishing. With the warm sunshine, clear blue skies, and emerald waters awaiting, you are sure to have a great day on the water. Come and catch some of the Gulf Coast's most exciting species including Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Cobia and more. Try deep sea Gulf Coast fishing or fish in the Santa Rosa Sound or Pensacola Bay. While the lure of Navarre Beach's emerald waters draw many to the beach, the lush emerald-colored greens of the area's golf courses attract golfers from all over the world. The Navarre Beach area is home to approximately a half dozen 18-hole golf courses and each course brings the natural beauty of the area to life with its rolling landscapes.
